When creating a family tree, the most essential document required is the family register extract (koseki tohon) which contains the necessary information to connect the names of your family and ancestors with lines.
While a family tree alone may suffice, the family trees produced by the Family History Record are something special.

To fulfill this vision, along with the family tree, we provide a "Family Tree Guidebook." In addition to the family tree, we document the footsteps of your parents, grandparents, and ancestors, bringing their lives from that era vividly to life.
"Family Tree Guidebook."
The "Family Tree Guidebook" provides not only the origins of surnames and family crests, as well as the history of the ancestral hometown, but also records when and by whom the family home was inherited, departed from, married into, and born in, as well as details of inheritance, land ownership, and disposal. Additionally, it includes maps of the ancestral hometowns where ancestors lived at the time.
Many customers also want to include photos of their family and ancestors in the "Family Tree Guidebook." Some customers also prefer it to be in hardcover.
The Family History Record's "Family Tree Guidebook" is an independent service that focuses on the stories hidden within family registries.
